BLEN is hiring an AI Engineer to ship production-grade agentic AI systems for federal and commercial clients. You will design multi-step agents, connect models to data tools, and build secure MCP servers for auditable workflows.

You’ll work on RAG pipelines, evals, and tool integrations with prominent providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI). Remote-friendly US-focused role with strong engineering collaboration.

Competenze

• Five+ years of professional software engineering with at least 1 year shipping LLM-based features.
• Hands-on experience designing or building agentic systems with tool calls and planning loops.
• Working knowledge of MCP or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong Python and backend API development experience (FastAPI/Flask).
• Experience with major LLM providers and RAG components.

• Design and build agentic systems that plan, call tools, and include human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
