Job summary

WorkMotion is seeking an AI engineer to own production AI services, including multi-agent systems and LLM pipelines, for document processing, CRM automation, and support workflows. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, secure AI capabilities that drive business impact across our remote-first organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (backend/Python)
• At least 1 year building LLM-based applications in production
• Strong Python: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy/Alembic, async programming, pytest
• Hands-on with LLM tooling: agent frameworks, gateway tools, MCP, RAG with vector databases
• Docker, AWS (S3), CI/CD and observability tooling
• Data privacy and security focus in design and operations
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production AI services in Python, including multi-agent systems and LLM pipelines
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and integrations for safe access to company systems
• Build retrieval and ingestion pipelines: parsing, chunking, embeddings, vector search on AWS
• Evaluate quality: benchmarks, regression tests, replay of real cases, prompt iteration
• Operate deployments: containerization, observability, authentication, and PII handling
• Contribute to AI governance with lifecycle records and risk documentation
