Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer & Agentic Workflow Engineer to design, deploy, and manage production-grade agentic AI solutions for CFO and enterprise functions. You will embed with client teams to build, test, and iterate agentic workflows that deliver measurable value on tight timelines.

You will lead AI development, integrate with ERP/CRM systems, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring SOX/audit-readiness and compliance with firm policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with 2+ years in AI/LLM development, agentic systems or automation.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration and agent design patterns.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript; FastAPI experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of prompts, function calling, and memory management in LLMs.
• Experience integrating enterprise data via APIs and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of AI Jumpstart packages within client environments and configure data connectors.
• Architect multi-agent orchestration workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Design prompts, tool use, and retrieval strategies to maximize accuracy and auditability.
• Build and certify MCP connectors and REST/GraphQL integrations to ERP, EPM, CRM, and HRIS systems.
• Package agents as containerized microservices and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment.
• Collaborate with client finance, IT, and data teams and mentor junior engineers.
