Job summary

Accenture is seeking a forward deployed engineer to bridge agentic software with client environments. You will embed with customer teams, design and deploy integrations, and extend the product with customer-specific tooling while promoting repeatable patterns.

You will work with AI-native capabilities, configure deployments, and translate field observations into product enhancements. Travel 0–100% may be required, and strong communication plus API/data modeling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience building and shipping production software
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and strong software engineering fundamentals (APIs, data modeling, integrations, cloud-native development, security, debugging)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with enterprise customers in a technical capacity
• Minimum of 5 years of experience building integrations between enterprise systems (REST/GraphQL APIs, identity providers, data pipelines)
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with AI or agentic systems (LLM-based products, retrieval, or production AI workflows)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (min 12 years)

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers and design partners, spend time on-site at customer sites, build deep relationships with technical teams
• Drive implementation and time-to-value: own customer journey from signed agreement to production deployment
• Build on top of the product: write code for customer-specific agents, workflows, tool integrations and dashboards
• Configure and deploy agentic systems: tune AI capabilities, guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows
• Solve problems on the ground: fix integration issues, data quality and performance bottlenecks, document findings
• Be the voice of the customer in product: provide evidence-based feedback and translate field observations into product improvements
• Enable customer teams: create runbooks, evaluation frameworks, training sessions, monitoring practices
• Operate AI-native: use AI tools to increase engineering leverage and integrate into daily workflows
