Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications for enterprise environments. You will integrate LLMs with existing systems and apply governance and security standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, AI SDLC, and modern cloud tools, including Python, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git. This is a full-time contract position with onsite work in Charlotte and Irving.

Qualifications

• Experience in agentic automated applications and Agentic Engineering.
• GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift experience.
• Python proficiency and REST API development experience.
• Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with LangChain or similar Agentic frameworks.
• AI SDLC exposure including model governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and services including upgrades and deployments.
• Review technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and engineering approaches.
• Resolve moderately complex issues while guiding teams to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve technical challenges and meet project goals.
• Lead projects and act as escalation point for less experienced engineers.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using enterprise APIs, LLMs, agent frameworks, and related technologies.
• Implement prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, fine tuning, and agentic design patterns.
• Integrate LLM models with existing enterprise systems ensuring governance, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex application and model issues and contribute to continuous AI system improvement.
• Assist and mentor engineers in advanced software development and AI practices.
• Stay informed of AI advancements and apply updates to products and systems.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Agentic AI Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)

Duration: 12+ months

Location: Charlotte, NC/ Irving, TX – 5 days onsite

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and services including upgrades and deployments.
• Review technical challenges that require in depth evaluation of technologies, procedures, and engineering approaches
• Resolve moderately complex issues while guiding teams to meet existing and emerging business needs
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and meet project goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing direction to less experienced engineers
• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using enterprise APIs, LLMs, agent frameworks, and related technologies
• Implement prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, fine tuning, and agentic design patterns
• Integrate LLM models with existing enterprise systems and ensure that AI solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot complex application and model related issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI systems
• Assist and mentor engineers in advanced software development and AI engineering practices
• Stay informed of advancements in AI, LLMs, and agent frameworks and apply relevant updates to products and systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in agentic automated applications and Agentic Engineering.
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate, PVA, Power BI), UI Path
• AI SDLC experience (DEVI AI, Claude Code, Claude Design), Lang chain (or any other Agentic framework)
• Alteryx (Data transformation and automation), IDP (intelligent document processing), Microsoft Co-Pilot Studio
• Agentic AI (Hands on experience on Gitogenin/Vertex AI)
• Experience in software engineering experience or equivalent through a combination of work experience, training, military service and Generative AI, large language models, or foundation models.
• Experience with either GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and Python.
• Experience with REST API development and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using Git for source code version control, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $70 - $78 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
