The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll be the person they rely on for transactions, local insights, and ensuring a seamless experience. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Be the warm welcome that starts a memorable guest experience.
  2. Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
  3. Manage guest bookings, upselling opportunities, and inform guests about ways to enhance their stay.
  4. Handle cash and credit transactions.
  5. Check guests in and out efficiently, including verifying IDs, issuing room keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
  6. Anticipate guest needs by recording preferences and handling messages, requests, and concerns.
  7. Assist guests with bills, local information, and escalate issues to management when needed.
  8. Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear protective gear as required.
  9. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively.
  10. Stay informed about daily events and activities.
  11. Assist colleagues with additional duties as needed.
Key Skills & Experiences
  1. Excellent communication skills to address guest concerns and compliments.
  2. Problem-solving skills to turn issues into positive experiences.
  3. Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
  4. Proficiency in reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
  5. Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a bonus.
  7. At least one year of experience in front desk or guest service roles.
  8. Physical strength to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
