Job summary

Bot Jobs is seeking an Agent Deployment Engineer in New York City to own the end-to-end build and launch of AI agents for enterprise customers. This hands-on role blends technical delivery with customer-facing responsibility inside a growing agent platform team.

You will write agent-building artifacts, validate integrations with customer systems, and coordinate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure successful deployments and platform improvements. NYC-based, on-site.

Qualifications

About the Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical delivery role within a newly formed Agent Builder organization at a fast-growing enterprise conversational AI company. You will own the end-to-end build and launch of AI agents for strategic enterprise customers, translating complex requirements into production-grade solutions. The work directly shapes both customer outcomes and the evolution of the company's agent-building platform.

What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of AI agent builds for enterprise customers, from initial scoping through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Write and maintain key agent-building artifacts, including workflows, configurations, and integration logic.
• Validate and troubleshoot integrations with customer systems and third-party APIs.
• Partner closely with Agent PMs, Agent Success, Engineering, and GTM teams to create tight feedback loops between customer needs and platform development.
• Interface directly with senior technical stakeholders on the customer side to define success criteria and communicate progress.
• Surface patterns and gaps from build execution to influence platform improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record shipping technical solutions end-to-end for customers, ideally at a technically complex B2B SaaS company.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python.
• Experience building integrations or working directly with APIs.
• Strong CS fundamentals, whether from a degree program or equivalent engineering experience.
• Comfort operating at the intersection of technical execution and customer communication.
• Familiarity with agent workflows, conversational systems, or automation pipelines is a strong plus.
• Prior experience building with or around LLMs or AI agents is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $175,000 to $230,000 USD annually. Equity offered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

On-site, five days a week in New York City, NY. Candidates must be based in or able to relocate to NYC.
