Job summary

Pencil is seeking an Agent Architect to design the "brain" behind its multi-agent creative engine. You will bridge creative intent and machine execution, leading discovery with brands and translating needs into robust agent architectures.

This is a client-facing technical role that emphasizes clear communication and scalable designs. You will influence core systems and bespoke client workflows, working with cross-functional teams to balance prompting, RAG, and fine-tuning.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of GenAI systems and practical deployment experience.
• Ability to translate client briefs into technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows and tool-use patterns.
• Lead client discovery sessions and present trade-offs in plain language.
• Collaborate with AI Engineering and Product teams on architecture decisions.
• Develop scalable frameworks and reusable agent components.
