The Juris Agency in Delano, Minnesota, is seeking an Agent Apprentice to join our growing team. You will learn under a mentor and an award-winning District Office while helping clients find insurance solutions that fit their needs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn, be coachable and resourceful.
• Great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Career minded and able to handle customer rejection.
• Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
• Able to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
• License in Property & Casualty and Life & Health preferred, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Cross-sell and upsell opportunities including financial products.
• Build outstanding relationships with clients and prospects.
• Prospect new business via referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Attend training and continuing education courses.
