Job summary

Integris Group seeks an Agency MPL Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for MPL clients and brokers in a fast-paced, client-service oriented role. You will support new and existing business, coordinate renewals, and work closely with the production team to ensure accurate submissions and timely responses.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the Agency Manager and a focus on delivering high-quality service while growing the agency's book of business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical professional liability insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2-20 Insurance License or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with Applied EPIC or a similar agency management system preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MPL account responsibilities, including billing inquiries, policy changes, endorsements, account documentation, and the renewal process.
• Partner with the Business Development production team to ensure timely completion of client requests and proper documentation.
• Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering client information, preparing submissions, obtaining quotes, and supporting coverage placement.
• Prepare and submit new business applications and supporting documentation to multiple markets.
• Utilize Applied Epic to maintain accurate account information, create submissions, document activity, and support account management.
• Communicate professionally with clients, prospective clients, brokers, agents, and carrier partners throughout processes.
• Provide administrative and account management support to the Business Development team as needed.
• Monitor outstanding items and follow up to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
• Cross-train with the Commercial Lines Account Manager and support growth and retention of the book.

Agency MPL Account Manager

Job Description

The Agency MPL Account Manager serves as a key point of contact for Agency MPL clients and plays a vital role in supporting the production and service of new and existing business. This client-facing position requires professional, responsive interaction with policyholders, prospective policyholders, brokers, and agents. The Agency Account Manager partners closely with the Business Development production team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure the timely and accurate handling of accounts, and contribute to the continued growth and retention of the agency's book of business. Their work will be instrumental in preparing the client submission materials to multiple markets and will utilize the features of Applied EPIC system to create submissions.

The Agency MPL Account Manager must have a minimum of 2+ years of previous medical professional liability insurance experience. The main goal and function of the Account Manager is to assist the production team with new and existing accounts while providing courteous, prompt, and accurate client services to a growing book of business.

This position reports directly to the Agency Manager of Integris Insurance Agency.

Responsibilities and Competencies

• Manage day-to-day MPL account responsibilities, including billing inquiries, policy changes, endorsements, account documentation, and the renewal process
• Partner closely with the Business Development production team to ensure client and account requests are completed accurately and timely and that required documentation is received and properly processed
• Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering client information, preparing submissions, obtaining quotes, and supporting the placement of coverage
• Prepare and submit new business applications and supporting documentation to multiple insurance markets
• Utilize Applied Epic to maintain accurate account information, create submissions, document activity, and support the overall account management process
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, prospective clients, brokers, agents, and carrier partners throughout the new business and renewal processes
• Provide administrative and account management support to the Business Development production team as needed
• Monitor outstanding items and follow up with appropriate parties to help ensure accounts are processed accurately and within required timeframes
• Crosstrain with and provide support to the Commercial Lines Account Manager as needed
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service while helping support the growth and retention of the agency’s book of business
