Job summary

Santader is seeking an Agency CMBS Associate in the CIB Markets group to support trading, risk management, and client activities. You will work with senior traders and sales to price transactions, analyze structures, and develop hedging ideas.

Requirements include a finance-related bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in sales & trading, with proficiency in Excel and tools like Bloomberg. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Sales & Trading experience; Agency CMBS or securitized-products experience preferred.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Price and execute transactions; analyze relative value and security structures.
• Monitor positions, risk, and hedge effectiveness; provide market color and trade ideas.
• Develop and execute hedging strategies using rates and spread products.
• Collaborate with Sales for market color, portfolio analysis, and client ideas.
• Build and improve analytical models, dashboards, and workflow tools.
