Job description

We are seeking Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis, providing high-quality care to the elderly in their homes to maximize independence and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities
• Assisting with mobility and transportation – must have comprehensive car insurance
• Food preparation and shopping; arranging or accompanying social activities and outings
• Domestic assistance tasks such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and folding clothes
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene, including showering, dressing, shaving, hair and makeup
• Travel up to 30 minutes to complete services

About you:

• Minimum Cert-3 in Individual Support - Ageing/Disability or extensive experience in a similar role
• Must have own car & comprehensive insurance
• First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain
• National Police Check within 12 months or willingness to obtain
• Flu and COVID vaccinations
• Willingness to commit to short client services, typically 1-3 hours, with paid travel time
• Ability to speak a second language such as Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Italian, Greek, or Polish is desirable
