Job summary

Gold's Aquatics Club is hiring for Swim Coach to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for swimmers of all ages and levels. You will guide, instruct, and support athletes while fostering a positive team environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with head coaches, and ongoing improvement with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Onsite work in Woodinville, WA.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience in swimming with a proven track record.
• Deep understanding of swimming techniques and training principles.
• Strong leadership to motivate athletes.
• Excellent oral and written communication and listening skills.
• Current Lifeguarding, CPR, AED and First Aid certifications, and USA Swimming (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with Team Unify and Meet Management software, and USA Swimming rules.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular practice sessions and provide on-deck coaching.
• Collaborate with head coach and other coaches for consistent program delivery.
• Set ambitious goals and design training plans for swimmers' improvement.
• Evaluate progress and give individualized feedback.
• Assist in planning and coordinating home swim meets.
• Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management.
• Stay updated on coaching techniques and trends.
• Adhere to club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Summary

Gold's Aquatics Club is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our team as a Swim Coach. As a Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive training program for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. You will provide guidance, instruction, and support to athletes while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Coaching Experience: 1-3 years previous coaching experience with a proven track record of success in developing swimmers at various levels.
• Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of swimming techniques, training principles, and competitive strategies.
• Bold Leadership: Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication, oral and written, and interpersonal skills, with a heavy emphasis on listening.
• Certification: Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED and First Aid, and USA Swimming (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
• Technical Excellence: Familiarity with Team Unify, Meet Management software, and USA Swimming rules (if applicable).
• Availability: Work flexible hours, required evenings and weekends.

• Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating home swim meets.
• Master Communicator: Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management.
• Ongoing Improvement: Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and trends.
• Employee Excellence: Adhere to club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements/Environment

• Must be able to work in a wet environment with occasionally high noise levels.
• Must be able to move frequently through all areas of the pool deck. Your shifts include continuous engagement and interaction with swimmers and team members.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with occasional travel to team events.
• Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time.
• Required to demonstrate or explain proper physical activities, techniques and procedures.
