Job summary

Frontier Farm Credit in Omaha, NE is seeking a highly motivated Closing Specialist to join our AgDirect team. You will perform loan closing functions, fund Retail Installment Contracts, Loans, and Leases by ACH, Wire, and Check, ensuring lien perfection and data accuracy.

Responsibilities include verifying documents, initiating disbursements, resolving GL discrepancies, and coordinating with dealers, customers, and partners while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred
• 2+ years of commercial lending experience
• Thorough understanding of loan and lease origination systems, General Ledgers, and Financial Software Applications
• Knowledge of financial principles and their application to credit delivery

• Verify receipt of the complete document package and obtain corrected or missing documentation from dealers, customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Initiate and document all ACH, check, and wire disbursements for retail installment contracts, loans and leases with appropriate systems.
• Resolve General Ledger discrepancies and ensure prompt follow-up and communication with parties.
• Generate booking files and ensure accuracy of loan information prior to sending to Loan Accounting.
• File and monitor legal documents to perfect lien position and for indexing/record retention.
• Coordinate funding activities with third party partners and ensure compliance with legal contracts.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and specialized Closing Specialist to work for our AgDirect team. This Closing Specialist will be responsible for performing loan closing functions which include funding Retail Installment Contracts (RICs), Loans, and Leases, by ACH, Wire and/or Check. Protect organization assets by ensuring perfection of liens. Review accuracy of documentation as well as identify and report potential fraudulent situations. Ensure repayment and collectability of Associations assets by ensuring a first Lien position for each asset being financed. Ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures associated with closing and booking. Work at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with dealers, customers, and Association Partners by providing consistent high-quality. Utilize strong communication skills to direct closing and funding activities through third party partners.

• Verify receipt of complete document package, including validity of borrower and dealer signatures. Contact dealers, customers, partners, and internal teammates to obtain corrected or missing documentation.
• Initiate and document all ACH, check, and wire disbursements for retail installment contracts, loans and leases using appropriate systems. Ensure data accuracy and data security to minimize any fraudulent activity.
• Resolve General Ledger discrepancies and ensure prompt follow-up and communication with appropriate parties.
• Generate booking files and ensure accuracy of loan information prior to sending to Loan Accounting
• File and monitor appropriate legal documentation with public government offices through both electronic and hard copy means to perfect lien position.
• File and label documents for indexing and record retention via the electronic filing system.
• Direct funding activities to be completed by third party partners and confirm compliance with legal contracts.

Education Requirements

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred

Years of Experience

• 2+ years of commercial lending experience
• Have a thorough understanding of loan and lease origination systems, General Ledgers, and Financial Software Applications
• Knowledge of financial principles and their application to credit delivery
