Job summary

J.J. Nichting is seeking a detail-focused Experienced Parts Specialist at the West Liberty location in Iowa. You will help customers find the correct parts, manage inventory, and support a busy Parts Department in a fast-paced agricultural setting.

You will interact with customers in person and via phone, ensuring accurate parts recommendations and timely service. The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check in parts orders daily and distribute products to other dealership locations and customers.
• Serve as first contact for the Parts Department for both existing and new customers.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and purchases.
• Work with the Parts Manager to maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Participate in ongoing inventory process to ensure proper inventory control.
• Support departmental efficiency by identifying and improving parts processes when possible.
