Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit in Butler/Meadville, PA, seeks an Ag Lending Manager to lead a team of Ag Relationship Managers. You will coach, develop, and guide staff while supporting business growth, customer success, and sound credit administration across the region.

This role blends leadership with hands-on relationship management and portfolio stewardship, collaborating with internal partners to drive regional sales initiatives and maintain high credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, Agriculture, or related field.
• Seven or more years of lending experience, including five+ years with large and complex agricultural accounts.
• Previous leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Ag Relationship Managers to support business growth, employee development, and customer success.
• Foster a collaborative environment with cross-departmental cooperation and continuous improvement.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development to ensure success at all stages of the team members’ careers.
• Drive regional growth by leading business development activities, implementing sales strategies, and achieving lending and profitability goals.
• Coach employees on consultative selling, relationship management, and customer-focused service delivery.
• Ensure sound credit administration by guiding loan origination, underwriting, servicing, pricing, and portfolio management.
• Serve as a regional resource for credit policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and lending best practices.
• Maintain and service a customer loan portfolio while cultivating new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
• Partner with Home & Land Lenders, Corporate Lenders, Business Services, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to regional and Association-wide initiatives and leadership activities.
