Job summary

West Central Equipment in Martinsburg, PA is seeking an Agriculture Equipment Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere and other brands' equipment, sometimes in the field.

You will perform setup and pre-delivery prep, stay current with products, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and complete required reports. A strong work ethic and good communication with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience performing service repairs on large agricultural or relatable heavy equipment.
• Work history of consistently meeting performance metrics.
• Ability to follow Technical Manual procedures.
• Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in agricultural, off road, construction or other heavy equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Associate Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and other brands of ag equipment and technology, sometimes in the field
• Perform setup and pre-delivery preparation of new equipment
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere products and competitive products
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashionComplete reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
