Job summary

AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners is seeking a Service Technician to perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment. The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and collaborates with the team to ensure high-quality service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years of service repair experience, and a valid driver\'s license. Training on John Deere systems is available; forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years service repair experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance using proper tools, techniques, and equipment for the machines serviced.
• Follow Technical Manual procedures when conducting maintenance and repairs.
• Seek direction from the Service Manager or senior technicians as necessary.
• Maintain contact with customers about work performed on equipment.
• Participate in training programs required for advancing skills.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep vehicles, inventory, AVE-PLP tools, and personal tools in good working order.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety rules.
• Complete all reports and forms required with work assignments.
• Perform other duties to ensure AVE-PLP success.
