H2ajobs seeks farm laborers to handle grain unloading and equipment operation in Kansas. Duties include unloading grain from trucks, dumping grain, and driving for parts and supplies during harvest season.

Experience required is two months with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Employer provides housing and meals; transportation to groceries is provided weekly when cooking facilities are available.

Job description

Function tractors, skid steers, loaders, augers, and conveyers for unloading grain trucks into storage facilities at harvest; manually dump grain such as wheat, corn, and milo from grain trucks and trailers during harvest; driving vehicle to obtain parts and supplies; driving tractor-trailer combination; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment and machinery; must be able to speak English. Although a CDL is not required, some workers hired under this job order may possess such a license and certain workers will perform some duties more than others.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 2 months

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
