Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bay & Lakes Region in Sturgeon Bay is seeking a part-time Program Assistant to support youth after school hours. You will lead engaging games, assist with homework, promote positive behavior, supervise 10–15 children, help with snacks, and support events in a vibrant Clubhouse environment.

The role offers paid training, paid time off for part-time staff, and opportunities to develop leadership and real-world skills in youth development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children (3+ months preferred).
• Experience leading or supervising groups is a plus.
• Interest in Education, Child Psychology, Human Development or Social Work.
• Conversational Spanish skills are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun games, activities, and enrichment programs.
• Help students with homework and academic success.
• Encourage positive behavior and build relationships with youth.
• Supervise groups of approximately 10-15 youth.
• Assist with snacks and meal service.
• Keep attendance records and communicate with teammates.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming Clubhouse and support events.
• Jump in wherever needed to create a great experience for members.
