Job summary

YWCA Northern NJ is seeking a part-time SAP Youth Counselor for 25-30 hours per week in Hackensack, NJ. The role involves creating a fun and safe environment for children, following the school-age curriculum, and maintaining engagement with all participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor to create an engaging before and afterschool program.
• Follow the school-age curriculum and daily schedule.
• Prepare and organize snacks for children.
• Help with homework and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure compliance with New Jersey State Licensing Requirements.
