Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced After School Teacher for our School Age Classroom in the afternoon hours (1:30PM to 6:30PM). This role may lead to Full-Time positions.

You will create a welcoming space, use a growth mindset, and implement our LEAP Curriculum with school-age children, tailoring approaches to each child's needs. • 1 year of professional teaching experience is preferred or 6 months required.
• Associates degree or higher in ECE or related field preferred; HS diploma/GED required.

We are seeking an experienced After School Teacher for our School Age Classroom. We look for passionate, dedicated, experienced teachers to help our staff during the afternoon hours between 1:30PM to 6:30PM. Interested candidates can also apply for Full-Time positions.
School Age After School Teacher must be able to drive school bus to pick-up children from nearby Elementary Schools. Experience in teaching Spanish Language or Music/Dance is preferred.

As an Afternoon Teacher, you will:

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Do You:

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
• Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
• Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
