Job summary

The Learning Experience in Florida is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom where children learn through play using our L.E.A.P curriculum. You will foster curiosity, joy and academic progress in a structured, caring setting.

You will build strong relationships with families and colleagues, document progress, and participate in training. We provide health, dental, vision, and time-off benefits, plus opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
• Florida ECE coursework (45 DCF Hours) required.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

• Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using our fun and engaging characters.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

As a Preschool Teacher, you will:

• Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.

Do You:

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
• Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
• Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
• Florida specific ECE coursework required (45 DCF Hours)
• CDA or Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred. High school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
