Qualifications

• Experience designing and facilitating structured activities for children in K–8 in areas like Art, Dance, Music, Reading, Math, or STEM.
• Knowledge of youth development principles and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate activities for grades K–8 within a school-based afterschool program.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and supervise participants.
• Deliver Arts, STEM, Literacy, Recreation, and Enrichment activities.
• Foster social-emotional growth and leadership skills in youth.
• Participate in mandatory trainings and keep knowledge of DYCD/DOH/DOE/OCFS guidelines up to date.
