You will lead Arts, STEM, Literacy, and Enrichment activities, adapt to multilingual learners, and collaborate with staff to ensure safety and inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with school-age youth.
• Experience designing and facilitating structured activities for K-8 in areas like Art, Dance, STEM, Reading, Math, or Chess/Robotics.
• Knowledge of youth development, SEL, and trauma-informed practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain a professional demeanor.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and OCFS/DYCD training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and program standards.
• Supervise activities, transitions, and breaks with positive guidance.
• Design and deliver structured activities across Arts, STEM, Literacy, Recreation.
• Plan projects or performances to showcase student achievement.
• Adapt activities for multilingual learners and varied abilities.
• Participate in mandatory trainings and reflective supervision.
• Keep current on DYCD, DOH, DOE and OCFS regulations.
