Job summary

El Concilio California is seeking a part-time Group Leader to supervise and engage students in the afterschool program at Stockton sites. Under the Program Coordinator, you will lead activities, ensure safety, and support academic growth in ELO-P settings.

You will build a fun, inclusive environment, plan age-appropriate activities, supervise up to 20 students, and coordinate with school staff to align activities with learning goals. Availability Mon-Fri from 1pm to 6pm is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or valid work permit.
• Availability Mon-Fri from 1pm to 6pm is required.
• Live scan background check is required.
• TB test is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• HIPAA/Harassment Prevention/Workplace Violence Training may be required.
• Demonstrates reliability, time management, and teamwork.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 20 students during program hours.
• Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities (arts, crafts, sports, academics).
• Ensure safety and enforce program rules and policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized program space and manage equipment.
• Provide homework assistance and academic support as needed.
• Coordinate with school staff to align activities with classrooms.
