Job summary

Sylvania seeks a Student Worker to assist Afterschool Program staff in Princeton, New Jersey. You will help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for elementary students, support daily activities, and encourage participation in academic enrichment, recreation, and hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with daily program activities and lessons.
• Supervise and interact with elementary students during activities, recreation, and transitions.
• Help prepare and clean up classrooms and activity areas.
• Set up materials and supplies for STEAM projects, crafts, games, and other enrichment activities.
• Encourage positive behavior and serve as a positive role model.
• Assist students with homework and academic activities as needed.
• Help organize indoor and outdoor games and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
• Follow all district policies and 21st Century Community Learning Center program procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Coordinator.
