Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County seeks a dedicated Site Coordinator for Cherry Hill Elementary to lead the afterschool program, ensure safety, and oversee daily operations. Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification and Food Handler Permit (or the ability to obtain them within three months).
  • Valid driver's license if operating BGCUC vehicles.
  • Preferred: experience working with youth ages 5–18, experience supervising staff/volunteers, and proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.

  • Program Leadership: Plan and oversee high-quality youth development programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development while meeting grant requirements.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure a physically and emotionally safe environment. Maintain a 1:15 staff-to-youth ratio and comply with all Child Care Licensing, BGCA, and organizational safety policies.
  • Team Management: Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate site staff and volunteers. Conduct weekly staff meetings and monthly 1:1 coaching sessions to foster a positive team culture.
  • Community Partnerships: Build strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, families, and community partners to support student success and site operations.
  • Operational Management: Manage site budgets, inventory, enrollment, and attendance records. Utilize data and surveys to continuously improve program quality.

Position Details


  • Location: Cherry Hill Elementary

  • Schedule: Part-Time, Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Hours may vary slightly)

  • School Year: August 1 - May 31 (Summer program opportunities vary by area)

  • Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour


What You Will Do
