Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a Resilience Coach for the Mountain Song Community School site in Colorado Springs, CO. This role focuses on mentoring students, delivering enrichment and academic support, and helping youth build confidence and life skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 PM, with a full five-day commitment.

Pay is $18–$22 per hour, DOE. Requirements: high school diploma and experience with children; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Promote respect, responsibility, and resilience as a role model.
• Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure student safety and well‑being at all times.
• Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team‑building activities.
• Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
• Help students develop social‑emotional and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
• Support student check‑in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
• Maintain an organized, safe learning environment.
• Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
