Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. seeks a Resilience Coach to support students at the KIPP Wheeler and/or KIPP Douglass sites in Washington DC. This part-time role covers before/after school, school breaks, and summer programs, with shifts 6:30AM-8AM and 3:30PM-6PM.

You will mentor, provide enrichment and academic support, and help students build life skills daily. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and education or supervised experience in youth-related programs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an Associate's degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Minimum 48 college credits with at least 9 in education or similar, plus 6 months supervised experience with kids under 15.
• High school diploma or equivalant with 1 year supervised experience in licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
• Lead enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
• Provide homework help and academic support sessions.
• Assist with daily program setup, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
