Job summary

Innovation Learning is hiring a Resilience Coach to support students at KIPP Wheeler and KIPP Douglass with after-school programs. This part-time role offers morning and late afternoon shifts and a focus on safety, engagement, and mentorship.

You will lead enrichment activities, homework help, and team-building games, while promoting respect, responsibility, and growth in youth. Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher education credit hours, plus experience with children;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage students and foster a welcoming environment; promote respect and resilience.
• Lead enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities; support homework help.
• Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play; develop SEL and leadership skills.
• Assist with daily program setup and cleanup; manage check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
