Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Site Counselor to lead before/after-school activities at the Arthur M. Blank Family Youth YMCA.

You will create engaging, school-ready activities for elementary students, guided by Bright from the Start and YMCA standards, and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, tracking attendance, coordinating supplies, and completing trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• HS Diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Experience with school-age children in a group setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities for elementary-age children implementing program goals.
• Coordinate supplies and attendance records.
• Attend trainings and maintain required hours.
• Ensure program operations comply with YMCA and BFTS policies.
