Job summary

Ocean City is seeking an After-School Program Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate weekly activities for elementary students at Ocean City Elementary School. You will assist the Recreation Supervisor, design lessons, schedule daily activities, and ensure safety and proper equipment use.

Responsibilities include supervising instructors, creating snacks, maintaining records, and communicating with parents. A high school diploma plus CPR/First Aid and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; training in recreation programming preferred.
• At least one year of experience with elementary aged children.
• CPR and First Aid certification; valid driver's license; pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in day-to-day operations of afterschool program.
• Instruct activities for Kindergarten–4th grade students.
• Create lesson plans and weekly schedules for daily activities.
• Set up and break down equipment for daily activities.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks daily.
• Enforce department rules and communicate with parents.
