Job summary

Children’s Paradise in Oceanside, CA is seeking a School-Age Supervisor to plan and implement an educational program that inspires learning and develops strong character in children ages 5-9. The role includes safe transportation during camps and school sessions, plus support as an AM Preschool Instructional Assistant during on-track sessions.

You will lead staff, coordinate parent conferences, and drive program quality while adhering to licensing requirements and coordinating with the Director

Qualifications

• 12 ECE units + ability to attain Child Development Teacher's Permit or higher
• Clean driving record; comfortable driving a 9-seater bus
• Experience tutoring, planning school-age activities, summer camps and events
• Passionate about working with ages 5-9

Responsibilities

• Set-up and maintain engaging classroom environments following the SACERS tool
• Create and implement weekly, data-driven Lesson Plans that follow CP template
• Complete a DRDP assessment on each student following CP timeline for assessment
• Analyze DRDP data and use results to create individualized goals for each child
• Conduct two Parent/Teacher Conferences for each child annually
• Provide leadership, training, and coaching to all School-Age Staff
• Communicate with Director to execute, implement and relay program requirements
• Provide homework and tutoring services
• Assist in planning of summer, spring and winter camps; oversee field trips
• Follow the Caring Series to ensure children and the environment are safe and healthy
• Implement physical activities outdoors and promote a healthy lifestyle
