Job summary

Brevard Public Schools is seeking an Intern Coordinator for BAS at EGHS in Melbourne, FL. Under the site coordinator, you will provide leadership for supervision and development necessary for a successful childcare program.

Required: high school diploma, 1 year childcare experience. Preferred: associate degree. Certifications: SQAP/SQAI or AMAP, First Aid/CPR/AED, valid Florida driver’s license. Full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of successful experience in childcare or similar program.
• Associate degree preferred in Early Childhood or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for supervision and development of a successful afterschool program under the site coordinator.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field (preferred)

Tools

SQAP/SQAI training

AMAP course / BAS Academy levels I-III

First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Valid State Driver’s license
