Job summary

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a GP Leader for the Riviera Elementary after-school program in Palm Bay. This 10-month position offers 4.5 hours per day under the Classified pay plan, starting at $15.95 per hour.

Applicants must be 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent and meet DCF/AMAP and First Aid/CPR/AED certification requirements. Training in BAS Academy Level I/II and related certifications should be completed within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must be age 18 at time of employment.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours online as Inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs-12 hours or complete within 90 days of appointment.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification or obtain certification within 90 days of appointment.
• BAS Academy: Level I (24 hours online) for the School Age Certification obtain training by starting within 90 days of appointment with completion within one year of appointment.
• BAS Academy: Level I and II (48 hours online) of the School Age Certification.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
