Job summary

PLAE is seeking a Part-Time Site Coordinator to lead the middle school OST program at The Northeast Community Propel Academy in Philadelphia. You will manage afterschool operations, supervise staff and consultants, and deliver student-centered academic support through literacy, SEL, mentorship, and sports.

The role focuses on strong collaboration with school administration, families, and community partners to promote engagement, safety, and inclusivity for grades 6–8 after school until 5:30 PM,

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or higher required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with children/adolescents; afterschool/summer program setting preferred.
• Proficiency with administrative systems and payroll platforms (e.g., Paycom).
• Required state and local clearances for working with youth must be completed prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily afterschool operations and program logistics within the school building.
• Supervise staff, schedule management, and timesheet approvals.
• Lead program activities focusing on literacy, SEL, mentorship, and sports.
• Collaborate with school leadership and families to maintain engagement and safety.
• Maintain attendance data and ensure compliance with policies and grant requirements.
