Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking an After School Program Manager to lead an engaging, safe, and welcoming program for school-age children. You will coach staff, partner with families and schools, and oversee operations at Makalapa Elementary with a part-time schedule.

Ideal candidates are natural leaders who enjoy mentoring others and building relationships, creating meaningful afternoon experiences for Hawai‘i’s keiki, and driving positive program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or mentoring staff
• Ability to coach and support teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of after-school program for school-age children
• Coach, mentor, and support Group Leaders and Aides
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels safe and engaged
• Plan activities including games, STEM, arts & crafts, homework support, outdoor recreation, and team-building
