Kama'āina Kids in Windward, Oahu, seeks an After School Group Leader to create a safe, inclusive, and fun after-school environment. You’ll lead games, supervise activities, help with homework, and build meaningful relationships with elementary-age keiki.

This part-time role offers afternoon shifts, typically 1:30 PM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Competitive hourly pay ($18–$21) and benefits support work-life balance and community impact.

Work That Fits Into Your Life

Looking for meaningful part-time work that still leaves your evenings and weekends free?

• Monday–Friday afternoons
• Most shifts are approximately 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
• Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
• No evenings
• No weekends
• No holiday work

What Your Afternoons Will Look Like

No two days are exactly the same. You might organize an outdoor game, help a student finish their homework, set up an art project, lead a STEM activity, or simply be the encouraging adult a child needs that afternoon.

You’ll:

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of childcare experience to make an impact here.

We're looking for someone who:

• Genuinely enjoys working with elementary-age children
• Brings energy and enthusiasm to a group
• Is dependable, patient, and encouraging
• Can confidently lead activities and keep children engaged
• Works well as part of a team
• Is at least 18 years old and has a high school diploma or GED
