Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader in Elk Grove, CA. You will work in-person with a group of students, maintaining safety and behavior standards, and acting as a positive role model in a school setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Live Scan background check, TB test within 3 years, and experience with 10+ students in similar settings. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Live Scan background check and TB test within 3 years.
• Experience with groups of 10+ students in classroom, afterschool, or recreation environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an in-person group of students with high behavior and safety standards using Think Together core agreements.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through appropriate dress, speech, and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, administrators and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development and ongoing training.
