Job summary

LEAP Afterschool is seeking an Assistant Program Director to oversee site operations, staff supervision, and the delivery of arts-integrated programming in alignment with LEAP goals. You will collaborate with Education Specialists and school partners to ensure program quality.

Responsibilities include safety oversight, staffing coordination, event planning, budget adherence, data collection, and ongoing program development to support youth and families in the community.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years supervisory experience required.
• Prior management and supervisory experience required.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Experience working with youth and families in school or community settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety: ensure the safety and security of participants per LEAP and NYS School Age Child Care protocols.
• Staffing/Youth Participation: recruit and train staff; manage enrollment and attendance; oversee scheduling and timesheets.
