Job summary

LEAP is seeking Group Leaders to work with our program team delivering arts, performance arts, sports, and/or STEM instruction to youth in afterschool and summer programs. You will help create engaging activities, support safety, and assist with lesson plans and events in a positive, inclusive environment.

This is a part-time role with a 2:00pm-5:00pm schedule, typically Monday through Friday, paying $19 per hour in New York. Experience with children/youth and strong teamwork are valued assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage participants to foster positive youth development.
• Prepare materials and spaces for age-appropriate activities.
• Assist planning, development, and execution of activities and events.
• Support classroom management and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Attend meetings and training, including outside program hours when required.
