Job summary

Think Together is seeking Substitute Program Leaders to work in California districts, guiding 20–25 students in the afternoon program. Roles require in-person presence, high standards for safety and behavior, and the ability to serve as a positive adult role model and mentor.

Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred and English proficiency is essential. Positions are part-time, with hours roughly 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Requires district-specific 48 sem/60 qtr units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Able to speak and write Standard English suitable for public schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Model positive behavior and establish a sense of belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply appropriate discipline.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, administration and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development activities.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity using provided curriculums.
• Manage a class of 20–25 students, support snack prep and clean-up, and assist with setup/breakdown.
