Job summary

Think Together in California is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to mentor and guide students on-site in districts and school sites. The role involves supervised, in-person learning with a focus on behavior, safety, and positive student engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma, basic math/English skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in Standard English; bi-literate Spanish is a plus. Position offers $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific units (48 sem / 60 qtr) or pass pre-employment test.
• Ability to communicate in Standard English for a public-school setting.
• Live Scan/background check required.
• TB test within last 3 years.
• Experience with a group of 10+ students in classroom/after-school.

Responsibilities

• Lead an in-person group of students with high behavior and safety standards.
• Create an engaging environment and promote belonging.
• Support positive behavior choices; administer disciplinary measures when needed.
• Report student needs to Site Program Manager, teachers, and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development.
• Provide homework help and academic enrichment using program curriculum.
• Assist with snack prep, serving, and cleanup.
• Maintain classroom setup and site cleanliness.
