Job summary

BGCSENC is seeking a Unit Director for the 21st Century Community Learning Center program in Beulaville, NC. This part-time, non-exempt role partners with the Project Director to recruit, supervise staff, and coordinate with schools to deliver a high-quality, high-impact after-school experience for youth.

• Experience working with children/adolescents in nonprofit or educational settings.
• Ability to recruit and supervise staff, and coordinate with schools and parents.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the 21CCLC site.
• Collaborate with Director to create student-centered programs.
• Develop staff schedules and training opportunities.
• Lead recruitment and retention efforts for students.
• Ensure data reporting and compliance with 21CCLC requirements.
• Engage community partners and schools to sustain program.
• Attend trainings and fulfill agency duties.
