Job summary

Partnership with Children seeks a dynamic Program Administrator to lead afterschool operations in NYC. You will oversee daily activities, attendance, enrollment, and staff supervision while ensuring compliance with contracts and funders.

The role requires coordinating with school staff and families to deliver enriching afterschool programming. You will manage budgets, staff development, and data-driven program improvements, while actively participating in DEI initiatives and partnerships with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years working with children under 13.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience in youth/community programs.
• Deep knowledge of afterschool compliance (DOE/DYCD/OCFS/DOH).
• Strong managerial, staff development, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to navigate change and support staff as change agents.
• Excellent communication with principals, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: attendance, enrollment, activity schedules.
• Hire, train, supervise part-time staff and volunteers; evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and funders (DYCD, NYC PS, DOE, ACS).
• Maintain records and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Onboard/train staff in PWC and DYCD policies.
• Coordinate with school administration on enrichment programming.
• Develop and monitor annual work scopes, rosters, and schedules.
• Manage budgets and data collection for program quality.
