Job summary

KIPP NYC LLC is seeking an Associate, After School Assistant Program Director to support day-to-day operations of a high-quality afterschool program in New York City. You will ensure DYCD compliance, coordinate administrative processes, and foster an engaging, safe environment for students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in youth development or DYCD-funded programs.
• Knowledge of DYCD regulations and reporting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation of the afterschool program.
• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing program activities.
• Maintain participant and staff records per DYCD and policy.
• Monitor attendance, enrollment, and compliance documentation.
• Plan family engagement events and student showcases.
• Supervise students during daily activities and trips.
• Prepare incident reports and support safety protocols.
• Collaborate with school leaders and program staff for quality programming.
