Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors must have an associate degree (or 48/72 credits) or at least two years of study.
• Licensed tutors must hold California teaching credentials.
• Background check (FBI/BCI) required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Phonics understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and apply prescribed instructional methods.
• Coordinate with school personnel to provide services to students.
• Communicate progress with parents and document student progress.
• Deliver instruction using company curricula and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise and escort students to sessions.
• Attend meetings with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
• Maintain inventories of educational materials and supplies.
