Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks a Part-time Student Success Coach to provide after-school math tutoring for elementary students. The position focuses on individualized and small-group instruction to reinforce classroom learning in mathematics and support student growth beyond regular hours.

The role reports to the Principal and emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies for second/third grade math concepts.

Qualifications

• WV Teaching Certificate is required.
• Math Certification is preferred.
• Preference given to a teacher at this location.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group tutoring sessions to students in 3rd and 4th Grade.
• Assist students with developing and refining mathematical concepts/skills.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with WVCCR Mathematics Standards.
• Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians and classroom teachers.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other teachers to support student success.
• Maintain a positive and organized learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
