Job summary

AoPS Academy in Millburn, NJ is seeking a part-time Language Arts Instructor to lead small, advanced language arts classes using our curriculum. You will foster critical thinking, reading, writing, and grammar as you guide students through engaging projects and discussions.

The role requires after-school and weekend availability (as early as 4pm) with Sunday sessions, 9:45 AM–11:30 AM and 2:45 PM–4:30 PM ET. Compensation is $35.00–$35.25 per hour for in-person teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Education or humanities degree strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Teach Engaging Curriculum using company materials for advanced students in language arts.
• Actively involve students in each class or student-led learning.
• Manage classroom up to 16 students effectively.
• Grade and provide feedback on tests and assignments.
